If you’re reading the Spears Marketing Blog, you probably have at minimal a small interest in entrepreneurship, as the main goal of the blog is to help the small business owner get a leg up on the competition through the use of internet marketing tools and strategies.
Our passion is helping small business owners, the mom & pop shops, professional service providers, the local brick and mortar businesses to grow and succeed, as they truly are the cornerstone of every community and the backbone of the American economy.
Most every business begins with an idea and a vision. An idea to create or sell a better product or service than what’s currently being offered, and the vision to grow it to fruition. Picasso once said that taking action is the key to all success, and action is the fundamental step that separates the true entrepreneur from the dreamer. If you’re a business owner, you know what I’m talking about, as you’re in the trenches taking action, sweating it out, working to make your dreams a reality, and helping to change the world.
The week of November 14 through November 20 is National Entrepreneurship Week, and November 19, 2010, is National Entrepreneurs’ Day. In commemoration of this week, we salute entrepreneurs everywhere, the freelancer working from home, the mom & pop shop on Main Street, the larger business now employing hundreds, but who started out with only one. It’s because of you all that Spears Marketing is in business and we’re grateful for that.
Go ahead. Take this week and celebrate, because you deserve it. After all, your actions speak louder than your words, and we can see by your actions that entrepreneurship is in you! Do something great. Be an entrepreneur. Help change the world for the better.
